Users must respect copyrights and other intellectual property rights. Public availability on YouTube does not by itself authorize transcription, copying, distribution, translation, or commercial use.

TubeText does not host YouTube videos and does not own or control YouTube content. It processes publicly accessible content identified by users to produce automated text and exports. Source videos remain hosted by YouTube or their uploader.

Copyright owners or authorized agents may request review and removal of material stored or made available through TubeText that they believe infringes their rights. Removing TubeText material does not remove the source video from YouTube.

A notice should be a written communication from the copyright owner or authorized agent and must contain the information required below. Notices are reviewed promptly and handled under applicable law, including the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act where relevant.

Include: identification of the copyrighted work; the specific TubeText material and relevant URL; the related YouTube URL if available; your name and contact details; a good-faith statement that the disputed use is unauthorized; a statement under penalty of perjury that the notice is accurate and you are authorized to act; and a physical or electronic signature.

A user whose material was removed may send a lawful counter notification identifying the removed material and its former location, explaining under penalty of perjury why removal resulted from mistake or misidentification, providing contact details and any legally required consent to jurisdiction, and including a physical or electronic signature.

Where appropriate, TubeText may suspend or terminate accounts associated with repeated valid copyright complaints or repeated abuse. We may consider the nature, reliability, and outcome of notices and counter notices.

We may request clarification, restrict access to disputed material, notify the affected user, preserve required records, and restore material following a valid counter process where the claimant does not take required legal action. Each request is assessed on its facts.

Submit notices and counter notifications only with a sincere belief that the statements are accurate and the legal process applies. Consider copyright exceptions, licenses, fair use, and other lawful bases before submitting a claim.

Knowingly making material misrepresentations in a notice or counter notification may create legal liability, including costs and damages. TubeText may reject incomplete, abusive, fraudulent, or clearly invalid submissions.
