Purpose of the Service

TubeText helps users create transcripts, summaries, notes, translations, timestamps, and document exports from publicly accessible YouTube videos. Use the service only for legitimate personal, educational, research, accessibility, or business purposes.

Lawful Use Only

You may use TubeText only in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, court orders, contractual duties, and third-party platform rules. TubeText must not be used to facilitate illegal activity.

Copyright Compliance

Submit content only when you have appropriate rights, permission, or another lawful basis to process and use it. Do not use TubeText to reproduce, distribute, or exploit copyrighted material unlawfully. See the DMCA / Copyright Policy (/dmca).

User Responsibility

You are responsible for submitted YouTube URLs, prompts, generated results, exports, and their downstream use. Public availability does not necessarily mean content is free of copyright or other restrictions.

Prohibited Activities

You must not bypass access controls or service limits, misuse accounts or payments, impersonate others, infringe rights, overload TubeText, evade enforcement, or use the service in a deceptive, fraudulent, or abusive manner.

Abuse of the Service

Do not abuse AI features through excessive, manipulative, harmful, or unauthorized requests. Do not create accounts or coordinate activity to avoid quotas, suspensions, payment obligations, or other safeguards.

Automated Scraping

Automated scraping, bulk extraction, bots, crawlers, scripted submissions, denial-of-service activity, and other automated access are prohibited unless {{CompanyName}} has given prior written permission.

Security Restrictions

Do not probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities; defeat authentication or authorization; access another user's data; distribute malware; inject malicious code; intercept traffic; or conduct automated attacks against TubeText or its providers.

Reverse Engineering

Except where applicable law expressly prohibits this restriction, you must not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, derive source code from, copy, or attempt to recreate TubeText, its models, interfaces, or security mechanisms.

Spam

Do not use TubeText outputs, accounts, or integrations to send unsolicited bulk messages, operate deceptive marketing campaigns, manipulate engagement, or facilitate phishing.

Illegal Content

Do not submit, generate, store, or distribute content that is illegal, promotes criminal activity, violates sanctions, facilitates fraud, or unlawfully exposes confidential or personal information.

Harmful Content

Do not use TubeText to facilitate exploitation, credible threats, targeted harassment, self-harm encouragement, dangerous wrongdoing, malware, or content intended to cause material harm.

Consequences of Violations

We may investigate suspected violations and proportionately restrict features, remove stored material, suspend or terminate accounts, preserve evidence, or report conduct to providers or authorities where legally required. Serious or repeated abuse may result in permanent suspension.

Reporting Abuse

Report suspected abuse to {{LegalEmail}} with relevant URLs, account information, dates, and supporting evidence. Do not include unnecessary sensitive data. Copyright reports should follow the DMCA / Copyright Policy (/dmca).

Changes to the Policy

We may update this Policy as TubeText, abuse risks, or legal requirements change. We will revise the date above and provide additional notice where required.
